Dr. Tian Dayton is a Senior Fellow at The Meadows and is the Director of The New York Psychodrama Training Institute in NYC.
She is the author of several books, most recently, The Soulful Journey of Recovery, The ACoA Trauma Syndrome, Emotional Sobriety, Forgiving and Moving On, Trauma and Addiction,
and several other books and numerous articles.
She has been a national speaker for twenty years doing keynotes on a variety of subjects related to relational trauma, psychodrama, and addiction.

Dr. Tian Dayton, has a doctorate in Clinical Psychology, an M.A. in Educational Psychology, and is a Certified Practitioner of Psychodrama.
She is a Fellow and “Lifetime Achievement Award”, “Scholar’s Award” and “President’s Award” recipient from the American Society of Psychodrama, Sociometery, and Group Psychotherapy.
She was the Editor in Chief of Psychodrama’s professional journal for ten years.
She has also received the Mona Mansell Award and the Ackerman/Black Award and the Caron Research Award for contributions to the addictions field.
She taught psychodrama at NYU for eight years and is a regular guest expert on TV and radio appearing on MSNBC, CNN, CBS, John Walsh, Ricki Lake, Montel and Geraldo.

He has extensive experience of working in treatment centres in North Somerset and 3rd tier local drug and alcohol services.
He has a Diploma in Leadership and Management, is a qualified Counsellor,
Professional registration with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS)
Registered member with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Markkus is responsible for leading the counselling and support team inside and outside Broadway Lodge,
and for developing innovations in the therapeutic programme that draws on evidence-based research and practice.

Dr Piers Henriques is an internationally recognised expert championing the needs of children of alcohol-dependent parents across the UK and around the world.
Over the years, his role within the charity has grown significantly.
He assumed communications responsibilities in 2014, tasked with developed Nacoa’s branding and outreach.
He was a leading figure in the substantial growth Nacoa’s success in politics, media, the health sector, and awareness in the wider world.
On a day to day basis, he manages Nacoa’s social media content, policy advocacy and media engagement.
He also represents Nacoa and Nacoa callers in parliamentary and other affiliated groups.
Piers recently retired part time responsibilities teaching English at Cambridge University, for six years he held a role as College Tutor.
Pierscompleted a PhD in English in 2020, specialising in communication and ‘intermedial’ aesthetics.

Stephen graduated in Psychiatry in 1978 and says that, even before he had graduated, he knew he wanted to do something about addiction.
Stephen, a valued volunteer at The Sydney Retreat, comes in weekly as a retired addiction psychiatrist to deliver a series of talks for guests about addiction and the brain,
weaving parts of his own story into the talks, he helps provide answers to the questions that bother people the most.
‘The process of diagnosis can be quite helpful. It lets you know what the problem is and what you need to do something about.
Every alcoholic is pretty confused about what’s going on and I try to explain stuff to them in a way they can related to,’ he says.
